Taylor was drawn to Quakerism in 2021 after feeling disconnected from her evangelical roots. She started attending meetings at Spokane Friends on Easter of 2022, and briefly attended meetings in Seattle when living there. Taylor has a Master’s degree from Whitworth University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is passionate about helping individuals with OCD and PTSD, particularly survivors of abuse. Taylor has been leading the Book Club at Spokane Friends since March 2024. In her free time she loves reading, playing viola, researching genealogy, and savoring the seasons.
Our Gathering Worship (with songs, message) begins at 10:00 am upstairs in the meeting room. We have a zoom connection for those who live outside our area (see below).
Our purpose is
encouraging,
loving, and supporting
a diverse group of people
who gather to deepen their experience
of the inner light of God.
We direct this inner light outward
in service to others to share the love of Christ.
**Following the teachings of the Living Christ, we are an open, loving, and affirming community.
We believe that God’s Light is inherent within all people. There are no exceptions.**
